RULES FOR M&A CHALLENGE
Finance and Economics students interested in M&A and valuations
FIRST ROUND
Submit your CV in English
Participate in online logical thinking, numerical and competency quiz
SECOND ROUND
Best candidates from the first round will be asked to prepare the case study
The case study will focus on an M&A project. Your task will be to analyze a potential deal, identify its risks and benefits, and present your recommendation
You will have approximately 3-4 days for preparation, and will then presnet your case study to our jury at Penta offices in Prague
AWARDS
All second round participants will receive a financial award of EUR 1000 each (NOTE: only candidates who present the case study in person are eligible for the award of EUR 1000)
Winner of the second round will receive a financial award of EUR 2000 EUR and will be invited for an interview with our CEO and if she/he convinces him, the winner will be offered a job in Penta with an additional bonus in the amount of EUR 3000
Remaining second round participants may be invited for interviews for jobs in our group companies (Penta Hospitals, Penta Real Estate, Dr. Max)

SECOND ROUND
Best candidates from the first round will be asked to prepare the case study
The main objective of the case study will be acquisition of a mixed-use development site. Your assigment will entail conducting a comprehensive analysis of a potential deal, assesing both its risks and benefits by examining its feasibility, market analysis, preparing valuation and formulating a sales and leasing strategy.
You will have approximately 3-4 days to prepare and then you will present your case study to our jury at Penta's offices in Prague
